Join Marjorie Myers, of Margie Paints, as she helps you step-by-step create a beautiful landscape oil painting on a 16 x 20 canvas. All materials provided. The one-day workshop takes place at The Next Picture Show (TNPS) in Dixon, IL, from 12 to 3 p.m.

Ages 14 and up are welcome to paint! The registration form is available in the gallery during business hours, Tues-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., OR you can download it below.

Margie is an Illinois artist who trained under Dana Jester and Steve Ross. She teaches workshops throughout the Midwest.

From watercolor to acrylic to oil, I love all things paint…are the result of multiple workshops taught by Steve Ross and Dana Jester.

Dana Jester is known for Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed (2021) and The Joy of Painting (1983). Steve Ross is the son of Bob Ross (yes, that Bob Ross) and painted with his father on his television show.
