It’s a fundraiser

It’s a night of experiencing new wines and, more importantly, supporting the arts in downtown Dixon.

The Next Picture Show announces the “Art in a Bottle” Gala, a wine tasting fundraiser event held on Friday, May 20, in the gallery. The cocktail-attire affair kicks off at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Light appetizers during the tasting will be available.

Note: The tasting doesn’t include dinner. Since you’re all dressed up, make dinner reservations at one of Dixon’s local restaurants before coming to the gallery!

Dali Brkovic, of Winebow | Fine Wines & Spirits, provides seven wines from Italy, France, and Spain for the tasting. Dali found his love for wine while working at, Il Pasticcio–a fine Italian restaurant, in Savannah, GA in 2000. His restaurant career also included several years at Spiaggia, and as the beverage director at the Purple Pig –both in Chicago, IL. He joined Winebow in 2013 as their Italian wine specialist.

Guests have the opportunity to order any of the wines poured during the tasting.

Silent auction and music, too.

The silent auction opens for bidding promptly at 6:30 p.m. Carol Brown provides music during the event.

Limited tickets – get them now!

We have a limited supply of tickets in order to make the event comfortable for everyone. Tickets are $75 per person.

Tickets may be purchased by phone at 815.285.4924 (have your credit card handy) or in person during gallery hours–Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance. We are not taking reservations.
