The Next Picture Show Gallery is pleased to welcome back the Illinois Watercolor Society National Exhibit on display from April 30-May 28, 2022. The show features more than fifty works of art by artists from the US, Canada, and Malaysia.

Nationally recognized artist, Michael Ireland, serves as the 2022 Juror of Selection and Awards.

April 30 Reception | demo | 1-4 p.m

Michael Ireland will give a presentation from 1-4 p.m. His artwork is known for huge color washes that invite the viewer to seize the colorful, kinetic energy within the strokes and consider the complex play of shape, form, negative space, and transparency of nature. CASH BAR during the reception.

The show is free and open to the general public during business hours. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 4 or by appointment.
