"Art in a Bottle" Gala Fundraiser | May 20

April 19, 2022

Good times for a cause

The Next Picture Show welcomes a new event that combines patrons’ support for the arts and a fine glass of wine (or two, or three).

We’re dressing up and have somewhere to go.

On Friday, May 20, the “Art in a Bottle” Gala fundraiser takes place in our gallery located in Dixon, IL. It starts at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The event is an evening of tasting seven wines from Italy, France, and Spain. Tickets are limited and on sale now for $75 a person. Light refreshments, a silent auction, and music by Carol Brown are part of the night’s activities. Dress is cocktail attire.

Note: The tasting doesn’t include dinner. Since you’re all dressed up, make dinner reservations at one of Dixon’s local restaurants before coming to the gallery!

“This will be a great evening that celebrates TNPS and its future with some of our finest supporters. The funds raised will help fund all the new art classes and programming in the next few months.”

Philip Atilano | TNPS executive director

Dalibor Brkovic

Dali Brkovic, of Winebow | Fine Wines & Spirits, provides six Italian wines for the tasting. Dali found his love for wine while working at, Il Pasticcio–a fine Italian restaurant, in Savannah, GA in 2000. His restaurant career also included several years at Spiaggia, and as the beverage director at the Purple Pig –both in Chicago, IL. He joined Winebow in 2013 as their Italian wine specialist.

Guests will be able to order any of the wines tasted during the event. A special price from Winebow allows orders of 3-bottle, 6-bottle, and 12-bottle (case) increments. See the evening’s wine selections and descriptions.
