The Next Picture Show (TNPS) is a non-profit fine arts center located in the heart of Dixon, Illinois. Our goal is to nurture, develop, educate, foster the arts, and galvanize artists and patrons within the community.
TNPS is located in a vintage 1854 building (7,700 sq. feet) that has undergone a complete restoration in 2004 that recreated the 1898 facade look and retained the original wood floors, tin ceiling, and internal structures where possible.
The main level
The main gallery level offers a wide variety of art exhibitions drawing artists far and wide. Before the pandemic, TNPS presented small live concerts throughout the year.
The lower level
Our lower level provides more exhibition space for special exhibitions, art classes, and workshops.
